I was just leaving for the otb to make my first wager in weeks. As I was walking out I heard Matt C. talking about DMR's pick six sequence, so I listened. Sonofagun, he zeros in on the third race and highlights my selection as the separator "key" in the sequence. He then goes on a diatribe about all the positives of the horse.

Okay, now I have problems. First odds will be adversely impacted, second it is the kiss of death when Matt is on the same horse as I.

Just venting. What are the odds that out of six races with large fields that he zeros in on the same ml longshot, especially in a race with several longshots, to ruin my plans?

You don't want "John Q Public" on any of your longshots.....because of JQP can "Zero in" on it, how good can it be?

If the public is on it isn't a longshot.

there are a lot of BETTORS on these bombs.....2 dollar bettors dont seek out even money shots, they want to put up 2 and get 20.

Do you believe the horse opened up as the fav off 12-1 ml because a bunch of two dollar bets based on uninformed money action bets? Did the same two dollar bettors bet it to the second lowest paying double with the previous race winner?

I don't think so. The animal was going to take action off a poor ML without Matt C. touting the animal. Matt C was the frosting on the cake.

Yes because I come up with a play maybe once a month and Matt totally destroyed the value of this play.

I think the horse won and paid $12.60 with Mike Smith aboard.

Yes he won. Opened up at 5-2, as the fav, stayed there for a while drifted to 3 to 1 and then 4 to 1 and after the gate opened 9-2 and and finished at 5 to 1. Never could tell what the final odds would be.

There was one winning ticket. TVG said it would pay about $370k.

Im not surprised Matt picked that one out as the morning line was WAY off.

She never went off at more than 7-1 in her life including stakes and graded stakes company.

And not to mention a hall of fame rider was returning to ride for her hall of fame trainer.

She should have been no more than 6-1 on the morning line.
