I made a statement when I first came on here that I think betting 1/5s to win isn't a bad thing.......I got laughed at rite of the board

Meanwhile the people that were laughing if they did that there whole life from when they started instead of what they really bet they would have do much money in there pocket it would scare them

If people did that with the rebates they get they would bury them

I give you credit, you searched far and wide to find these.

One is from a $200k race. One is from a $9,000 race that is so poor a horse that is 0 for 24 is 5-1 morning line.

You went to a lot of work to get these 4 picks - no matter what happens I appreciate the effort.

I don't think any if these will be 1-5 types.

Favorites, sure.

I thought I heard or read a start that odds on favorites have an ROI of $1.80 or so per $2.00. If that is correct, and if you select the right ones, I don't see why you have to exclude any one type of horse from potential plays.

What makes it tough is when you think a horse is 4-5 and by the time they hit the 1/4 pole it is 1-5.

These are picks off my software program. Pace advantage fr1 speed plays with other positive factors. As I said if the horse Is below even money they should be very difficult to best. I need 5 people to bet $200 each at 5 different sites and cancel all as they load but one bet. I would love to see how the odds changed in my favor. Its happening at mtn now. So must not be illegal.

Just because something is legal doesn't make it right.

Agreed!!....but since its paramutual wagering then one set of players has an in fair advantage there you better consider your options.

Sure, in theory I should be rooting against everyone else.

So, if I follow that logic nobody should ever post horses they
intend to wager on because that may lower the odds.

Pool manipulators are handicapping my handicapping... haha Its already handicapped enough.

I've put in my $50 win bet and cancelled it 10 times.

The teller at Freehold isn't happy, but I'm trying to help.

He's 1-5 as they load at Suffolk.

Phantombridgejumpe

He won by about 15 and was eased for the entire stretch.

The ran a 'blistering' 113:4. Okay, the others were terrible.

I did Exactas with the 1,2 and 3 and caught the 3 for 2nd

I think the 5 went of 2-5 -- exacta pays 21.40.

Appreciate the tip, and I didn't hurt your win price. Bet $15 got back over $50.

shameful price at evg..... how can they bet a horse that low.

Phantombridgejumpe
08-28-2013, 07:54 PM
I left a small win bet behind - but nothing to drive it to $2.20

Hit the exacta a few times, but didn't use the 9 so missed the triple. Probably
a small win for me.

I left a win bet (no exotics) behind on the Woodbine race. The other track did not appear to be on the list where I was.

$8.00 out 11.20 back
No plays tomorrow. Unless scratches produce a play.

I managed to miss the one that lost - pure accident.

I'll PM you next time I'm going - if you have a couple plays I'll throw a few bucks on for you as a thank you.

When I saw the woodbine horse won I was very happy to see the slightly better than 2-1 price.

The only race I saw of the 4 was at Suffolk. Where the other two easy winners? Any excuse for the one that lost?

maybe having a 3 length lead at the eighth pole twice and losing is a good indicator..lol...I am not handicapping these. Might be an idea though...

Somehow an even money shot won and there was bridgejumping as the 9 ran way out.

Interesting that the horse at Beu is not the ML favorite.

Probably can't play, but I'll watch.
