R1: :5: PALIO PRINCE won last summer in Del Mar with a 32.000 tag, is running figures good enough for this class and last time won big here over this short distance. Has a recency edge over the favorite (2)INTO THE FRAY.

NP

The winner had lost 10 times in a row here at this level AlwN1x, since 2011. Maybe after yesterday's storms the tapeta is pro-early speed

TimeformUS pace projector had him on the lead, looked hard at him but like you said couldn't get past the losses for a win bet,

R2: :4: TOO WILD FOR WORDS was the speed and class, and used to run great after layoffs, but changed trainer and who knowns where is he right now. :6: LADY NATHAN is the speed in form and with recency.

win & win

1st ($4.20) :6:

(10)LIQUID ASSET was so ugly coming from Cl 5000 N1Y with four horrible 58 Beyer in a row...

R3: Wide open. :4: GRANITE DUST is a professional maiden, but the only time he's run on synthetic (May 19), over this tapeta, he ran his best race, a second with the highest Beyer on offer here (54), one point above the par time for this class and showing some speed. He could be in the money again with nice odds.

place/show

1st (dead heat) ($13.60- 13.40 - 7.60)

The Spaniard

R4: Tough :2: SEIZE THE FIRE is in good form and the race flow will favor his style of racing. (the trainer of 5 is too cold for good right now 24-0-0-0).

1st ($10.80)

The Spaniard

R5: :8: ONE COOL DUDE last summer held his good form for 3 races, he might repeat the cycle and win. :11: ATLANTIC DANGER could profit the lack of speed of this field.

1st ($11.00)

The Spaniard

R6: Progressive :8: DUVALI (34 > 57 > 62 > 75) is a first option being the par time for this maiden class 65, but :7: DAGBURNIT ran like needed the debut race and has improved a ton lately in the morning with long workouts (he showed speed):

1.02 B > 59.03 B (12 lengths better)

exacta box

2nd & 2nd (dead heat)

$324 bet on the winner (38-1)

R7: The favorite (1) could kill himself going to fast here, this is tapeta, not dirt. The alternative would be :6: DUBAI BEAUTY, doing everything right on sythetics for a brilliant small barn.

R8: favorite (4)TIZ MOE won big first time tapeta, closing in a slow pace race, but :2: AMERICAN DOE did already win at this level 3 races back, and was good second (lost by a head) closing of a fast pace like we can project today with the quick 1 leading the field.
