Aqueduct Spring Showdown

Well men over at www.nyra.com they are starting up their annual spring showdown. 10 dollar entry fee wiiner gets 60 percent of purse nice money. Anyone think they can be the last man standing by just picking a horse to finish in the money each day, Seems easy doesnt it. Last year i made it all the way down to just 50 people left but came up short!!!!!!! I will try it again its fun and challenging!!!!!

since belmont fall i have been wanting to try it and keep forgetting to :) I did do the CDI one for Hollywood park and made it to about 800 left from 2500 starting. had to make a deciscion between 2 horses. the one i chose flipped in the paddock, had a jockey change, and just galloped around the track and i was knocked out. naturally, the otehr horse won :)

maybe i will sign up before hte march 10 deadline for aqu spring.

Hawthorne just started theirs yesterday. A fave in the first broke down. Wiped out over 2/3 of the contestents on the first day!

Beware last Yr I thought i was getting over by picking a
Big fav in a short field and the Horse Finished out of the
Money in a 5 horse field. Select wisely .
