Mixing it up here. Playing $10 WP only on my top Maiden picks today. Listed in Alphbetical Order.
Calder Race -1 The :7: . Off the layoff for the Gold barn a 17% trainer move. Add the slight drop in class for another 46% angle.
Calder Race -2 The :1: 3rd time off the layoff runner lost as the favorite last out. Trainer hits at 13% off the loss as the chalk. Rail post a 26% winner at this distance.
Calder Race -4 The :1: 10-1 ML shot for a solid 18% 1st time starter barn, Bred to be quick early and often. Trainer hits at 23% at the maiden claiming level.
Calder Race -6 The :9: . 8-1 on the ML for this 1st time starter. Outfit hits at only 8% with 1sters but this one has been working well and is bred to be quick at an early age. Price is right.
Canterbury Race -5 The :7: . 22% 1st out trainer Mac Robertson has this one working fast in the mornings. Bullet workout Aug 2nd signals readiness to win at 1st asking.
Del Mar Race -4 The :3: . 2nd time starter for the Baffert barn a 22% angle. Showed a good stalking run as a 1ster and that type of run will do good here.
Del Mar Race -6 The :6: . Have a feeling this one is a runner as Bejarano gets off the 14 and doesn't ride the Baffert 1ster in here. Fast works for Hess who usually doesn't kill em in the mornings.
Del Mar Race -11 The :1: . Stretches out on the grass for a 20% trainer move. Add another 28% on the 1st route attempt and the bullet work coming in gets Bejarano up.
G Gate Race -7 The :4: Drops into the maiden claiming ranks for a 26% trainer move. Fresh speed on the cutback to a sprint today.
G Gate Race -9 The :6: Ships in from Bhp for 15% shipping trainer Stein. Bullet workout on Aug 18th going 5F. Bad break cost this one last out. Graduation day.
Gulfstream Race -6 The :8: . Has the right running style for this. Closer gets plenty of gutless speed to run at today. Solid workout Aug 17th for this.
Saratoga Race -1 The :8: . Goes routing for the 1st time. Trainer hits at 14% with the move. Love that this one has shown the ability to stalk a hot pace. Fits the 2 sprints to a route angle and its a 33% move for this outfit.
Saratoga Race -2 The :4: . Well bred 1st timer for Hushion. 500k purchase has been working well for this. Trainer hits at 17% with 1st timers. 5-1 against the Pletcher runner sounds good.
Saratoga Race -3 The :2: . Returns off a long layoff for Jerkins. Nice 4F bullet workout on Aug 15th for this. If he likes the green, he's gone.
Saratoga Race -8 The :3: . A total crap shoot in this group of MSW fillies going long on the turf. I'll take a stab here at 6-1 on the line for Shug. Nice 5F workout Aug 4th signals some speed in this one. Bred to handle the green. Price play here.
