for years i have watched this guy operate in the sales all over the country. he was the first guy that i ever knew that coined his profession BLOODSTOCK AGENT. so since i did the same thing i got business cards printed out with that term. he was real good at picking out horses. when the horses i got out bid on went to him i knew i was doing something right. he will be missed.

I first met him in early 70's he was the "teeth man" at Monmouth in those days, then he found his true calling as a bloodstock agent, had a good eye for yearlings ,like lambo say's you knew you were looking at the right horse's when he had them on his short list also .......RIP

Would two year old sales be as big as they are today without Buzz Chase, maybe some others ?
I'm sure many saw this guy's ability to turn a profit and chased after it.
I sat next to Buzz for years at Monmouth.
He always made a mess with the peanut shells but he taught me much about horses. He called me Artie even if told him 1000 times I am Arnie.
