Funny thing is that if all tracks adopted the SRU downs philosophy, you wouldnt even think to discuss stuff like this....it would just be part of the game, part of the idea that racing is a contact sport and that sometimes the breaks will go your way and sometimes they won't but in the end, after its all said and done, after the smoke clears and the last patron leaves the track while walking over losing tickets strewn on the ground, walking past maintenance workers who are cleaning up for the next day's races, you, the selector of the physical winner, will get paid.

The way it is now, sometimes the breaks go your way and somtimes they don't. But in the end... (yada, yada, yada)... the selector of the official winner gets paid.
