If you haven't the time to read its entire 8 pages, please, watch all the videos. Then, maybe, try and understand what draws you to it (besides wagering upon it,) why you like the sport, and why it might be beneficial to say something good about, if only, now and then..

it was a great article in the times. the Times online does a lot of stuff like that with the video's. that newspaper has more content since they went cyber, and there are some great articles. the editorials are pretty one sided still.

as far as the horse racing game goes, some day it will come back bigger and better than it ever was. like everything else it just needs a few structural changes.

The obvious question is...will this occur during our lifetime?

We all know how slowly changes are implemented in this game... :)

The problem we have now is that the biggest racetrack conglomerates are interested in making money from slot machines and only really own racetracks because for some reason legally, you need to own a track to be able to have slots. Racing doesnt have too many track owners who actually want to own tracks, that's probably the biggest problem racing faces going forward...tracks owners who really don't want to be track owners.
