I, personally, don't like it. If city officials can carry, but you can't, it seems like a affront against the average citizen.

The city is just allowing those who have CCW's to continue to carry their weapons while they are working, as opposed to locking the guns up in their cars in the parking lot.

Like the guy in the article says. They are allowing them to continue to exercise their rights while working. Nothing more, nothing less.

They are not restricting anybody else's rights. They aren't brown shirts. They aren't using the weapons in their work. They just get to continue to carry while going about their day to day duties.
