$1500 per entry, pick 5 games per week and take home the cash. Last years winner had 57.5 points out of 85 (1 point per win, 1/2 point per push).

I am trying to get a couple of local guys together to enter but thought some posters my also be interested in doing their own group to enter.

I assume you had a proxy to make your picks each week? No problems?

A close friend of mine lives in Henderson... So there were no problems.

Looks like the winners share is $367,500, not $500,000.

I think that's based on 700 entries and last year first paid over $400K and the person running it is estimating more entries than last year. There is a spot on the website that shows last year's payouts.

Edit: Here's the link to last years final standings. $447K for 1st.

Regarding getting a group of friends to enter as one ticket, is there one guy who has final say in what games are the plays? Once you get more than 2 or 3 people, I would think there would be a lot of conflict, unless there's one main decisionmaker.

I see the 3rd place finisher from 2012 is a Breaking Bad fan

We are looking at 3-5 people and that is what I am wondering. It definitely needs to be worked out ahead of time. We will all throw ideas out there and try to come to a consensus on what to pick. The person organizing will probably have final say and I am ok with that but then again if it were the final week and the top couple of places were at stake it might get interesting:)

We have done pick 6's together and that worked fine so we will see on this one. Win, lose or draw there will be a lot of entertainment for not much money.
