This is the only track I looked at of the ones you listed picks for. I like the 7 to place in the 6th. In fact, you may want to consider it to win as well. This is a very contentious race. There should be decent odds on the 7. On the other hand, I don't like the 8 at all. I question whether it is a 40k claimer, and don't think it doesn't look to have good turf breeding. Good luck today. Think I may have to play the 7 to win, but will have to check the board first.

That makes the 6th race unplayable. Too bad, because I was really liking that 7. All but five horses scratched, making the 5 look like a virtual lock. I still may play a Pick 3 with races 5-6-7 using the 5 as a single in race 6, along with 5-6-2 in race 5 and 3-4-1 in race 7.
