The presser hangs in there too.

Pletcher is tough to beat with those things now.. i know i was lucky as hell to beat him yesterday with Dutrow 2yo. i almost didn't play it because i knew Pletcher horse was good. in any case it made me a winner again this year. i will give Pletcher a chance to clean me next year. and maybe i will get big Todd again with Dutrow's 2 yo filly that i like better than the one that won yesterday.

The 4 and 7 were seperated by a whisker. That was as bad a beat as you can get if you had the 7.

Or if you had the 3rd place finisher who was one of the greatest 15-1 shots in the history of Saratoga. ;)

I always viewed the "bad beat" label as one you can use when your horse is actually best and somehow loses. Don't get me wrong, Wired Bryan ran great, but he had the length of the stretch to get by and did not.

Which I did. Sunday was one of those days that you like to forget. Just a few minutes before the Saratoga Special was DQd at Gulfstream when the 5-2 winner was set down. Earlier at GP had a 2-5 shot taken down that cost me 2 pick 3s. 1-2-3 strikes. Both DQs were justified, knew before the inquiry sign went up that we were coming down. :bang:
