Race 9

The 4 caused all kinds of trouble for the 2, interfering several times during the race, and finally getting taken down and placed 4th. The 2 had very little chance to show anything as a result.

The 2nd ranked horse, the 5, ended up winning at 16/1, so betting the top 3 PFV ranks at 3/1 or higher got you a $35 payout!

Race 10, the pace picture played out like projected. However, the pace was absolutely blistering; 21 3/5 44 flat, with the 7 hanging a bit too close to that pace, IMO. The 4 won by less than a nostril (millimeters!), with 7 getting 2nd, and the 6 coming from way off the pace to get 3rd, finishing only a neck behind the winner.

I am absolutely astounded that the pace setter held on in this one, although both the 4 and 7 were fading badly at the wire. Good thing the wire wasn't another 2 yards further, neither would have won this one.
