Race One:

Don't know much about "The Jumpers". As stated in an earlier post, more a guess than handicapping.

:8: Kisser N Run just missed in last. Cutting back. As good a chance as any.

Also: :6: Cubist; :9: Well Fashioned; The Entry, :1:, :1a:

Race Two:

:3: Chrysolite. I like Notebook-bred first-timers. Solid morning works. Look for works with "g" (from the gate). The longer the better.

Also: :7: Con Gee; :6: Nutmeg; :5: Cryptic Comet

Race Three:

:3: Speightcity is my long shot try. Third start after a layoff. "Bullet" work.

Also: :1: Colony Strike; :4: Suns Out Guns Out

Race Four:

:2: Rain Forest stretches out. Two wins in five tries on the lawn. Jose Lezcano for Christophe Clement.

Also: :3: Wickapecko; :8: English Rhythm; :10: Bricks And Clicks

Race Five:

:5: Bluegrass Flash has solid turf breeding. Sharp workout. Can win at first asking.

Also: :1: Marvin's Miracle; :2: American Creed; :3: Forever Utopia

Last five races on card, later.

Good afternoon!

R1: :6: NUTMEG, expensive filly (190k), first partant of the meeting of John Servis, (good first start and 2 year old trainer). She's bred for routing but is well bet and in the outside. Will be finishing.

1 win/ 2 show NP

race 2, i am going with the 6 as well without the bleeding medication, the trainer never uses it until the third start earlier if the horse is a legit bleeder. but there are other stories to this race like Kenny Furlong horse, he doesn't travel empty

R3: This looks like a match race between :1: COLONY STRIKE and :2: WINDSWEPT, both at the top of his game. But Lopresti's horse needs a quick pace to close at, difficult to project in this short field.

straight exacta

3rd & 1st

:1: - :2:

COLONY has bounced badly after his huge win last time.
Many times big performances last time out are dangerous

R5: After being schooling (7 pound bug) in races won by Royal Ascot speed devil No Nay Never and Here's Johnny :7: JUSTICE DEPT shows a recent big bullet and Rosario gets the call for the stretch out. Catch me if you can.

Race Six:

:5: Prado Cat was overmatched in a Grade II stakes race at Churchill last May. Morning works are good. Robby Albarado for trainer Dales Romans. Can do.

Also: :2: Kanturk Kid; :7: More Hundred Acre; :1a: Ale

R6: :5: PRADO CAT seems a well regarded colt (ran twice in Stakes) who is training great after the layoff. Pretty dangerous in this company. (8)SOUTHERN TIER -is bred for routes- goes for the exacta.

NP & 2nd

definitely this is a meeting for spread betting, not for picking winners. I liked the winner too. I needed a 3 horses exacta box... woulda coulda.....

R7 Dutrow's horse :2: , looks good here, as does the :5: , but I've got to go with "goodnight :7: MRS CALABASH wherever you are"

Sorry, I couldn't resist. ;) If you remember that line, you're older than dirt. :D

R7: Let's spread. :5: VICTORY ISLAND has run good races at Saratoga. :2: CINEMATIZE drops in class for a good layoff trainer. :3: DEAR ELIZABETH rises in class after 8 months on the shelf for a fantastic big layoffs trainer (33% win out of 43 runs).

exacta box: :2: - :3: - :5:

Looks like big RAIN @ SAR.

R8 I like the :6: here, getting Velasquez back, has won with. Beaten favorite last. Showed speed and faded.

Race 8 - :11: Hundred Acre Wood is the bomb...keying 2nd and 3rd in ten cent supers with many horses, small win saver but that's unlikely to happen.
