R1: Stakes winner first time turf and unexposed :2: SUMMER EXCLUSIVE stalked a lethal pace last time (21.1 > 43.3) and can be excused. He's working fast for a red hot trainer and could beat the favorite.

R2: :2: SUDDEN RUMOR shows an early and remarkable 6f workout in 1.12.2 just in April over San Luis Rey dirt. That means he's precocious and with stamina. A bullet over the track on July 29th (36.1) says he's sharp right now. A good debut trainer adds to the appeal.

3 Smogcutter gets better post and removes the shades and should help to relax the eager youngster. 5w10p 3
Nothing to really see here. Would tab the 2 Spainard as he made up a lot of ground and looked to get something out of the race.

R3: all surface :6: SPRING BREEZE is training great over this polytrack (59.2 /second of 82), she's already a winner at this level (Apr 26th) and here meets a very soft $20.000 field. She can upset the locals.

Musical Jockeys but strong work tab. Like to run fresh and Victor comes back after tearing up 4 in a row last year. First good post in a while with a shot at not letting pace get to far away.
5p 10 show.

With musical jocks and Victor, the fact that Iggy chose the 3 was probably a clue for the 5. Nice Call on the winner gentleman.

In race 4, the opening fav is coming from Ire. I believe the racetracks listed would not contain a turn for the distances listed. Correct?

R4: favorite (1)CLENOR is bred for routing but this maiden is at risk of suffering jet lag, and there is no value at 4/5. :3: SIERRA ELECTRICA made a fine debut sprinting and she's bred for routing.

:3: SIERRA ELECTRICA 1 win /2 place

Race 4;

It seems like I won't get 20-1 on :7: La Madera, trainer thought enough of this one to start off in a stakes, didnt break alertly... oh well, happens to even Fort Larned.. Let's give this a shot.

:8: Back to Life seems to have an improved work on the DMR surface.. hope she runs well to be 2nd

Win on :7:

7-8 ex box

:3: SIERRA ELECTRICA 1 win /2 place 7 days (at the minimum) would cure jet lag.. Clenor has a work on 31st july.. but I guess it's just your style of humor ? :)

yes, I'm betting all the Europeans invaders out of the plane and they all run miserably, as if suffering jet lag...

What does that make us think of Concave's win? The 5 ran the worst and finished best today the other nowhere. Food for thought for later stake.

Race 5 - The 10 is an example of one my favorite MCL plays. Trainer is part owner. Owner is breeder. Not a long series of works, but an economical one. Running the horse to make money as the owner may still have the mare and needs wins for her. Taking money and shows speedy bullets and guessing that Chantal may have worked her a time or two. Looks nice in post

R5: :5: WICKEDLY SASSY made a debut as favorite for a 5% debut trainer (something they had seen beyond statistics), and missed all her chances steadied badly on the far turn. Today blinkers on and that experience under the belt. She could rehabilitate.

NON RUNNER

As a trainer of 2yo's in the past, the second career race was the one that made you nervous. First time they just follow the herd, the second time they have an opinion already. The 5 was acting the fool in the paddock. Just thinking out loud.

R6: there is inflation of speed and seems the race is set for a stretch runner. :9: MIND EYES closed big time after 5 months on the shelf and she's improved 4 lengths in her last workout (1.00H > 1.59.1 bullet). (3)CHARM THE MAKER has run too many routes and while dead fit, she may lose to much ground...

amazing finish, like a big handicap in France

Race 6
If the Candy Man sits chilly the 6, Conkate could get the perfect pace today and should get a good position by the first call. Key is how fast are we gonna go? 5-1 we go in a 44.3 or less half.Charm the Maker has yet to hit board since facing elders.

Almost a perfect trip for the 6 but a little short. Great race.

R7: :2: CONCAVE showed speed, ability to rate and won in hand with a good figure. Bred for dirt, she might like more poly than the green.

Really like Einstein to be a good sire and the 3 could benefit from the added distance. Wondering how Concave will take to the surface. Not willing to go in at 3-1

R8: this is a very slow bunch and debutante :10: SRI'S RED is training very quick, while Talamo is excellent frontrunner jockey. :11: WARRENS DIXI BELL is another unexposed and training well.

both win & win

CONCAVE has a staying pedigree, by a 10f dirt horse out of a mare by a 11f turf performer. Very interesting...
