As always I'll play my top pick $10 WP and roll the pick 3's for the buck. Picks made for fast n firm before scratches:
Race -1 The :6: . 2 year olds to kick the card off today going 5.5 on the weeds. Tabbing this 6-1 shot for Romans in the opener. Love the July 26th workout over the surface. Wide open field of 1sters. :6: :7: :8:
Race -2 The :4: . The Claramount Stakes. Colt ran a 102 Bris figure in latest wire job. Trainer hits at 19% off the last out win. Makes it 4 out of 5 today. :4: :3: :1:
Race -3 The :1: . Maiden claimers going 7F in here. Ran a solid 3rd in 1st start over the surface. Should get a nice pace to stalk at today. Castellano up a bonus. :1: :7: :4:
Race -4 The :7: . 3rd time off the layoff for Pletcher hitting at 24% with the move. Adds blinkers today for the 1st time another 20% angle. 6-1 on the line sounds about right. :7: :3: :2:
Race -5 The :2: . Likely fav in here ran a well beaten 3rd in lastest try on the slop. Gets back on the turf today for 16% dirt-to-turf trainer. Should run away with this one. :2: :4: :7:
Race -6 The :2: . Claimed off the near miss last out. 10% 1st off the claim trainer jumps this one up in class form another 15% trainer move. This one always brings her race and may have found the right field to graduate today. :2: :6: :7:
Race -7 The :7: . Fits the 2 sprints to a route pattern here for Bond hitting at 20% with a small sample. Has hit the board in every one of her 6 career turf starts. I think the stretch out helps this one here. :7: :6: :5:
Race -8 The :3: . Landed here after staring at this race for about 15 minutes...it's a crap shoot. :3: :5: :7:
Race -9 The :6: . 3rd time off the layoff for Rice hitting at 21% with the move. Two brilliant workouts since the last out win signals this one's ready for a big effort here. :6: :2: :4:
Race -10 The :8: . Tabbing the Maker runner in the get out race today. Of the likely bet down horses, this one has not had enough starts yet to prove he's heartless. Goes dirt-to-turf for a 23% trainer move. Add another 26% on the drop in class to boot. :8: :10: :5:
