SECDEF Chuck Hagel has apparently determined that available funding now allows reducing the number of unpaid furlough days required of DoD employees as a result of budget sequestration from eleven down to six (at least for the current fiscal year that ends 30 September). So, next Monday will be my last such "vacation" (for the time being). Thanks, Chuck!
