9th@Mountaineer: 5.5F Clm5000N2L ~ purse $8,400 ~ 8/6/13
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A rarity for the condition: Every runner has failed at this level
locally. No JBM's, only 1 cutback from a mile. Result? Faves likely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Bold Seeker (7/2 ML)~ Positives: stalking speed & rail. Solid
win two back @5F. Negatives: 2-4-9 may be quicker early.
2) Storm Love (6/1)~ Positives: Decent 2nd last out, 3YO has
right to improve. Negatives: 4-9 may be quicker.
3) Forest Ice (8/1)~ Positives: Filled Super in last, good post.
Negatives:5YO's Best dry dirt Beyer: 45.
4) Simple Man Skynyrd (3/1 ML FAve)~ Positive: Rolled 2 back,
3YO has upside. Negatives: Beaten Fave 2-of-3, Never passed.
5) Lonsdale (6/1)~ Positives: 3rd off layoff, R2S, crafty owner/
trainer. Negatives: 4YO has raced by appointment, only win Turf.
6) Jo Bob (20/1)~ Positives: Bob is a Great Name. Negatives:
Beaten 1 runner last 5 races. Say No Joe!
7) Rebellion Dog (20/1)~ Positive: 9th start of 2013, must be
sound, if slow. Negative: 4YO's Best dry dirt Beyer: 35.
8) Stick Up Artist (10/1)~ Positives: 3YO has postitional speed,
good rider change. Negaitves: One-Paced style, needs perfect trip.
9) Scorion (5/1)~ Positives: Private Purchase/Trainer Change.
Negatives: 7YO only win on Turf @Calder Oct.3,2009.
10) Halo Saturday (20/1)~ Positives: Top jock sticks w/3YO, can
pass runners. Negatives: Two tries vs. winners not good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early Look: i think 70% of Late Double Action goes thru ML Faves
#1&4, & they probably will oblige. Lonsdale on Cutback, & Scorion
on Pvt.Purchase will be 'wise-guy' selection, but both obviously
have physical issues. 3YO's Storm Love & Stick Up Artist should be
solid 'under' players, not impossible for the "W" with right trips. Only
#3-6-7-10 would leave me "shocked". If closers doing OK, i'll end
up keying #1 in P6. Good Luck to All, see you at Night School!

8th@Mountaineer: 8F Clm10000N2L ~ purse $10,100 ~ 8/6/13
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
due to time constraints, can't do full breakdown.
#2- $120,000 Purchase, claimed for $5K last out.
#3- hopeless.
#5- trainer having career year
#6- drops to proper level, spotty races concern.
#1-4-7 Logical contenders.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i'll use a bunch in P3/4 if possible,
focus on #6, MAYBE #2 in Late DD.
