I have tried to add names to my address book but if you click n the "address book" on the tool bar nothing comes up.

If you click on contacts in the lower left they all appear.

Mondays blow!

thanks guys and gals!

FWIW, Windows Contact and Address Book from either Outlook or OE are not compatible.

In Outlook you either start from scratch or copy and paste everything in.

You might try and determine if there is a way to export the Windows Contacts to comma delimited format, which would then allow editing of the fields for importing into Outlook.

Either way you have your work cut out.

I changed computers recently and installation of Office 2007 prevented the spell checker from working in OE (no fix from MSN).
I converted to Outlook, unfortunately Outlook would not import my extensive address book from OE.
Rather than lose or rebuild the address book, I'm simply working without a spell checker for email.

What version of Outlook? and Windows?
Did it ever work before?
Is this a new install?
Did it just stop working one day?

See if anything here helps.
