Back in the saddle at Saratoga today. Playing my usual $10WP on top picks and roll the pick 3's for the buck. Picks made on Fast-Firm courses before scratches.

Race -1 The :7: . 1 Mile on the inner turf to kick the card off. Will start with the probable favorite for Clement. Ran 2nd as the chalk last out and trainer hits at 23% wheeling back off the loss. Graduation day. :7: :6: :3:

Race -2 The :6: . 2 year old fillies going 1mile 1/16th on the weeds. Wide open event here. I think a 1st timer wins this event. I'll tab the outside Pletcher runner with JR up. 25% 1st timer trainer has a nice set of works for this including a very fast 5F move on July 15th. :6: :5: :7:

Race -3 The :2: . 5.5F for 20000b claimers here. Ness 1st off the claim tagging in at 36%. Won last at same level. Looks tough. :2: :4: :1:

Race -4 The :3: . Looks like a stone cold runner for the Pletcher barn here. 800k purchase is 2 for 2 lifetime so far and this might be the easiest group he'll face. :3: :4: :8:

Race -5 The :5: . A field of 6 1st time 2 year old fillies take the stage. Taking a shot against the 2 in here with the Mott trainee. A great 5F workout July 11th for outfit not known to have them cranked up early. :5: :2: :3:

Race -6 The :8: . Just missed in latest vs basically the same level. 3F bullet workout on July 30th signals readiness. We'll take all of 5-1 here. :8: :4: :6:

Race -7 The :10: . 3rd time off the layoff for Hushion hitting at 29% with the move. Failed as the favorite last out and trainer hits at 35% off the beaten fav loss. Jockey switch to Alvarado and bombs away at 15-1 on the line! :10: :8: :5:

Race -8 The :6: . 3rd time off the layoff for Jacobson hitting at 23% with the angle. Add another 31% 2nd off the claim to that and Rosario up for the ride. Will get a good trip here. :6: :7: :9:

Race -9 The :2: . The G1 Alfred G Vanderbilt. Compact, tough field of 5 runners all with a shot here. 9/5 on the line feels about right for the Iowa Sprint winner last out. Gets a little class test today but I think this one is getting good at the right time. :2: :1: :3:

Race -10 The :3: . 2nd time off the shelf for Shug. Trainer's runners usually run well in this spot with a 24% clip. Bullet work in the holster July 27th for this. 5-2 sounds good here. :3: :2: :1:

Race -11 The :9: . Maidens on the inner turf in the get out race. I've going home with the long shot stab. Just missed in last for low percentage outfit. Has figures to compete vs these. 12-1 the price is right. :9: :4: :2:

Will update for scratches in a bit.

Good Luck N Good Racing From The KidCapper!!!!

Race -2 Scratch the :7: (3rd choice pick3)
Race -4 Scratch the :3: (Top pick)

New write-ups here:

Race -2 The :6: . 2 year old fillies going 1mile 1/16th on the weeds. Wide open event here. I think a 1st timer wins this event. I'll tab the outside Pletcher runner with JR up. 25% 1st timer trainer has a nice set of works for this including a very fast 5F move on July 15th. :6: :5: :3:

Race -4 The :4: . Big Scratch of the 3 lands us here. Nice bullet workout Aug 1st over the surface. 4f 46.3 for Kenneally. Off the break a 16% trainer angle. :4: :8: :6:

Good Luck!

R2: :3: ACQUANT's got a staying 10f + pedigree and there is the possibility that today she beats (5)KETTEL TWIST, who being by Dixi Union is more speedy.

What really got me yesterday was I had Del Mar Race 6 English Crossing as my pick and as a complete F-head I bet that horse in an exactor box and the other horse (the semi fav) didn't show up (the 10) - even though I liked the :5: to place (which he did) and the exactor paid about 180.00

anyway that's enough of that

Nothing like a homecoming for a multiple winning NY bred. 20 wagered 79 return.

R7: :11: MIZ OWELL, bred for turf in her female side, exploded first time turf for Michael Maker with a 70 Beyer. Here the par figure is 77. With another step forward she could be a big upset.

Absolutely love Woodman on the bottom. Lisa Lewis and Solis are a good combo. Should move forward 10WP 1 Moonlight Sonnet. 6 is a live longshot.

also I can't place my finger on it, but it seems like Key Decision :10: would hit the board at good price..
