Picks for Aqueduct Sunday:

R1- #1 Neon Jet-Showed much early speed when shades were added last time. Switches to Luzzi . Short price means maybe DD key.

R2 - #5 Krupa-Moves into strong barn here after two decent races at GP. Main man Luzzi gets on, looks like a DD sweep is possible for him.

R3 - #5 Tarek-Really don’t like the ML favorite here. This runner had no chance last time, getting heavy pressure going longer. Showed good early speed two back, and this barn does well with this route/sprint move. I’m thinking he’ll be able to stalk the Lake horse and get first jump.

R4 - #9 Torun-Coming out of what looks like a productive race. Has yet to run a bad one, gets Bridgemohan today.

R5 - #5 Mahal-Makes second start for new barn. This barn excels at 2nd after claim, so I’m expecting better. 6/1 would be nice.

R6 - #8 Romolo’s Wine-Low key connections means a good price likely here. Has some good am works and has decent breeding to pop first time out.

R7 - #2 Fiji Rascal-Expecting big odds on this one. No name trainer here. But this horse is doing a couple of things that this trainer excels at. Coming off a layoff, and in a route race. Turf experiment was puzzling for previous barn, because she’s not really bred for it. I’m thinking the new surroundings may wake this one up. Migliore sees fit to ride.

R8 - #4 Ojibway-Wow, tough race. But in a wide open race such as this, I usually go with price. Ran as well figwise as most of these, after battling on a pretty decent pace. Obviously barn thinks he can run, I’m sure there’s plenty of NW1 races at PHA.

R9 - #11 Mumbles-Closed well against a snail pace last time. Field looks pretty hopeless, but I wouldn’t take a short price on this one.
