Today marked the 5th time in six years that he has won with his initial starter of the meet...amazing.

2008 - Final Refrain wins at 8-1
2009 - Blame wins at 4-1
2010 - Quick Delivery wins at 5-2
2011 - Parcel runs 3rd at 3-1
2012 - Lea wins at 8-5
2013 - Central Banker wins at 4-1

My interest is piqued and I will look back beyond 2008, and I will be waiting in 2014.

Okay - so this year he won with his second starter of the meet at 9-2.
His first runner was a debuter who got left at the gate and never contended.

So, what you're saying is that you put the kibosh on him with this post. And they call ME a mush. :D

Lighting strikes again!...almost.

Dating Lady Luck runs 2nd at around 9-2 under a very easy to have Chad Brown runner for a nice exacta.

It's a great game we play fellas ;)

he had a horse in today going long on the turf for the first time and got a real dumb ride on his horse that went off at 3-1

These types of stats are always fun to find.

Dear boy - perhaps it is better to not post at all and be thought a fool than to do so and remove all doubt.

Where's the lie?

Hey, I didn't lie---they're just not fun after they lose five years in a row....but that first year, fun! ;)

Could I get some thoughts on today's Race 6 Saratoga. I like Stall on turf at Saratoga off layoffs. Should I be concerned with only 2 published works since he took over training in May? I have the :2: singled right now to anchor my pick 5 but debating whether to trim down elsewhere to squeeze in the :1:. What you think? Workouts not my strong point.
Thanks

Stall had him running at his 'top' and Bridgmohan did a great job of handling.
Horse has a tendency to enter the stretch on the wrong lead. Today he was 'righted' and finished pretty well.

I bet against him. Looks like the public did as well - He paid $16.40, and the public was supposed to bet Stall down to about $9 or $10.

8 Orient Harbor was very 'live' today and couldn't get close until the wire.

Used him in my pick 4, but it came up one short in the opening leg. I guess the proof is in the pudding. Lesson: Don't get hung up on works use Al Stall in turf events with his new horses or ones coming off layoffs
