Ray thx for posting those stats...

In fact, when I have a horse to wager on, I will always raise that wager up a unit or two, when they are in one of those very advantaged Post Positions...

netbet Good luck, ...hope you get there in time for the big one R12, The Adios
I'm picking Word Power w/ Morrill based on a better price? but Sears and Vegas Vacation will be tough.

The last 5 races are baby races but there's some good betting opportunities early.

LK, (and anyone else, please)

Any comments on my 20/1 ML shots? ...Lislea Moran & Object Of Art, R5 & R6
Sears and Merriman know how to win here.... ;)

Good Luck all

You're welcome Bob. Good to see you still have a soft spot and an eye for Adios Day:)

I started with race 1 (in the other thread 'exactas') hitting for $107 and thought this was going to be a good day then NOTHING since.

Don't know if I ever came out ahead at the Meadows on Adios week.... :D

GL the rest of the way.......

Hi Ray
Historically speaking, I have always had my best days on Tuesdays and Fridays. At least back then they were loaded up with trotters, my preferred gait. I lose my butt on Adios Day.

Similarly at the Jug, I have killed them on Jugette Day and pull back half of my winnings as I usually tap out on Jug Day. Something about pacers loses my interest.

In the contest, I started downhill when the track dried out as I handicapped according to wet surface with a closing bias. Hence now in the late races, I guessed that most of the top drivers would he heading for the coast and then took a educated guess on who might catch drive. I am hoping for one more large payout of a top pick. If not, it was a nice run. Currently in 7th place and fading..lol

thanks again,
rtd

Ray,

I made it out to The Meadows on Saturday. With the weather being very crappy to start the day, it looked like it was going to be a miserable day but it turned out to be very nice.

I actually finished 9th in the contest and was pleased with the result. I still can't believe I let John Campbell beat me with a $30 plus winner.

I needed the Campbell runner to win the Adios to cash the Pick 4 but for some reason he decided to tuck in a try to make a late run.

They had a nice crowd and overall it was a very enjoyable day.
