I was a fan too.

I never knew he was a cop in Chicago for almost 20 years.

RIP, Dennis.

A real cop playing a cop was fun to watch.

I loved him in crime story, and he only got better.

There was this one movie where he played a Jewish mobster. Brad Pitt was a gypsy... set in England. Lots of British character actors. Laughed my ass off.

Thought this was a PG-13 siteWell, I did write "Language Warning" in my first post...sorry I forgot it on the others...didn't think it was necessary...

Are you saying those scenes weren't PG-13? I'm pretty sure they might have been...no sex...no drugs...just a little cursing and some violence...

Man, Midnight Run is one of the most underrated movies of all time...whoever cast the movie deserved an Oscar, because if there was a book beforehand (and I don't know if it exists), and I had read it, everyone in the movie would have been as I imagined them. Superbly written story, I don't know how they managed to make the violence and constant cursing intertwine with the comedy and sentimentality so smoothly.

Farina (as mob boss Jimmy Serrano) delivered his lines perfectly in the movie:

Jimmy Serrano (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001199/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): Don't say a word to me, Sidney, don't say a f**king word to me. I'll get up and I'll bury this telephone in your head.

Jimmy Serrano (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001199/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): I thought you said this guy was gonna be on the plane.

Tony Darvo (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0286561/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): That's the information we got.

Jimmy Serrano (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001199/?ref_=tt_trv_qu): That's the information you got. I'm gonna tell you something. I want this guy taken out, and I want him taken out fast. You and that other dummy better start getting more personally involved in your work, or I'm gonna stab you in the heart with a pencil. You got the message.

I could not find a clip of it, but in his first Law and Order show delivers a great line about his $500 shirt being ruined. It set the tone for his character perfectly. I remember talking to several other fans of the show about it.
