Moveon.org is still going strong. I thought one of the posters here had evidence that they were illegal, what happened to that congressional investigation we were supposed to have?

Saw an article in Arizona Republic pertaining to this yesterday. It should be interesting. Maybe they can settle this quickly like the` investigations of intelligence gathering prior to the invasion of Iraq. ;)

The ads will stop if the Stations that run them are worried about paying fines after the election is over or somewhere down the line.

This is why I was against McCain Feingold, it is against the first amendment. I hate the Move On types.....but I think the McCain law is unconstitutional. although the Supreme court disagrees with me.

Well as of today, the RNC's attempts at stifling free speech has been a failure. They sent legal notices to 20 stations to stop airing the ads. None have stopped. That there RNC must be like some of the posters on this board. You know, them fellows that get all fussy when the truth bites em in the arse. :D

Kerry and the Demonkrautz are so chicken of Bush winning they are telling him what to stop putting in his ads(freedom of speech), telling him he has no business going to a nascar race(freedom of assembly), telling him they didsn't like the carrier sign (frredom of expression); calling his campaign crooks(slander), and saying without proof or naming names that some European leaders oppose Bush's re-election(false political statements). The only verified endorsement by a foreign leader so far is N. Korea's Il being for Kerry (communist support). Bug off of your uneducated speculation. Let's have some hard evidence. (I'm voting for Ralph Nader again!)

If you think that ad is damaging to Bush you are sadly mistaken.
Bring it on.
The truth is our ally-it doesn't hurt and we do not fear it.
The DNC, however,,,,,see Ken's post above.
Ken ......SUPER post.
A top of the ole cranium-cover to you tonight!

Tom I am not posting about any particular ad, I am posting about the RNC's attempts at limiting free speech. Please try to stay on topic, thank you.

Kenwoodalls post is basically fiction, poor fiction at best, no reply necassary.

Tom and Ken,
You guys are losing it here. The original topic was about moveon.org. I posted about the RNC's attempts at stopping ads by MOVEON.ORG. Where is the off topic in that?
Nice attempt by both of you to try an attack from the far out zone but as I said, "some folks get all fussy when the truth bites em in the arse"
:D :D :D

Soory. I did not know anytrhing about moveon.org was on topic! I think the internet police should not allow moveon to use .org, as that makes them appear to be an org that does something positive!LOL!! I think RNC should be RNC.EDU since everything they put out is honest and helpful!LOL!!

M'cain/fiengold's a joke. Even while pushing this through congress the dem's were plotting how to get around it. Moveon.org and other's were products of this "deceit" Moveon was infused with 15 million by avowed socialist Geo. Soros. Does that tell you anything, lbj?

Tells me LBJ is right- Moveon.org is going strong!

Lefty

Sure, they are going strong. But unless you're an avowed socialist then finding out Soros has given em 15 million should be an eyeopener. Don't see how anybody but avowed "Bush haters" could blve an organization that "morphed" Hitler into Bush and then said it was a contest entry that they didn't mean to put on the site. Yeah, right. These organizations and Dems keep doing this sort of thing then have the nerve to talk about the hate on the right.

I thght Rumsfeld looked fine. You keep mentioning truth like you have a patent on it but never an example.
AND, you better look up slander in the dictionary.
It's Kerry that's been doing a fine job of putting his foot in his mouth. First he met with world leaders and they looked him right in the eye and even though it's on tape he denies saying it. Then he says before he voted against the 87 million for Iraq he voted for it. It's comical.
