Pardon my language, but I have come to call this event the Summit Of Shit because I can't buy a winner at Calder.
Today was the only day I ever played that track - lost my ass for years before I just quit.
Yes, me too. I NEVER even look at Calder, but, I refuse to bet either of the Duck Races pretending to Gr1 races on either coast today - crap-ola. New rule - no 5 horses races ever again anywhere.
I was going to call this thread Climbing the Crap or the Meeting of the Mediocre.
Come on POT.....throw your hat in here....we can laugh at each other after
each race!

wow - that :7: came all the way down to 4-1
Oooooo :1: :7:
I liked the :7: after I looked more at them, but I thought he was too cheap.
I preferred the G3 horse.
Nice!

Just finished capping race 7 and I have decided on a one thousand dollar tri:
:1: w :7: w :4: :5:
(wanna split the cost?) :)
Race 7 Carryback G3
:1: :4:
At 18-1, I gotta throw a saver on the :2:
If the :1: feels the pinch of a triple top last time, the 2 could be long gone in the stretch.
Now that's the Calder I remember. :bang:

Race 9 - :1: :6: :8:
I am obligated to throw the speedy La bred in there...the :1: will come down from that 8-1 ML for sure.
How did Dreaming of Suzie get in that last race? She already won 2 races, including that condition?

R9 Smile Sprint
I've always liked :11: Jackson Bend...so I'll couple him with :4: Justin Phillips
:4: had nothing.
HTR had the winner 2nd, but I wouldn't bet it with your money.

Well Jackson Bend did well for himself...up for third...but that's probably the kind of race to stay away from...:D...I kind of felt it was almost anyone's race there for awhile..
This next one is a doozy!~
I used to bitch about small fields, but if this is what you get with full fields, I'll pass. :faint:

I don't see that he ever did.....must have had a good breakfast today?
Can't pick the 11th - just too much of this track today......adios!
