John Cummings Jr. at Buffalo Raceway suspended 60 days and fined $2000. Physically violent toward another driver. I watched the replay of the race mentioned. He lost to his brother. He had the lead the whole race until the very end, nobody cut him off, squeezed him out, pushed him, etc. Not sure what that's about.

Now I remember, my ex-wife got a 22.19 when she once went to the Gynecologist...:jump:

Not that I carry the Canadian harness rule book in my pocket or anything

I wonder if they frown on feet out of the stirrups because of safety/drivers with feet out drilling horse with the whip.......

Or it's the universal sign for when a horse is "live" and the driver is telling somebody to bet him!!

Stirrups is a booting fine. What Walter Case used to do all the time and got booted out for, for a period.

Here's a brand new one at Mohawk. I've never seen it fined before, but since about 2006..... when the Meadowlands shuffle turned into 'wait half in half out for cover' ..... it's happened time and time again on all big tracks.

FILION,SYLVAIN R
ORC - SITTING HALF IN AND HALF OUT

Date Issued : 08-JUL-2013
Total Due : 200.00
Violation Occurred : Race 3 at MOHAWK RACETRACK on 06-JUL-2013 horse WHEELING N DEALIN

I think the judges got it right. It must be really annoying to other drivers when somebody does that in a race.

Talking on the track and kicking a horse are my favorite violations.

It is probably annoying to the other drivers, but they all find it convenient to use when they're horse needs a helmet to follow. Regardless, I still think guys will still find cover even with this new rule. They wouldn't want to risk getting boxed in.
