Lost all chance from the break in debut. One would need to watch the replay to understand how poor the break was. He lost about 5 lengths, was rushed up to get into contention, in tight for much of the stretch, pulled out and was flat from the early efforts. Trainer only 1 for 43 with debut runners so the betting action was significant. Works before and after have been very fast and Smith gets up. 310k purchase is deserving of another chance, especially for a trainer whose runners improve start by start.
