Hi US friends,
In the UK over the weekend we've had a horse run called KINGMAN out of John Gosden's stable who is a son of Invincible Spirit out of a Zammindar mare called Zenda who has thrown high class three year old colt REMOTE - a sensational clockbuster too (Doncaster 01/06/13).
This horse currently has the whole of the UK raving about the time he has put up when winning his Maiden at Newmarket over 7f winning by 6 lengths in a time of 84.30 seconds. There was a Group 3 race called The Criterion run over 7f two races previously run in a time of 83.09 by 111 rated Producer.
We'd like to think this horse could be coming over to the Breeders Cup with Johnny G such a lover of your style of racing and his time suggests he would suit American racing.
He's currently been aimed at The Solario next which is Group 3 race over 7f at Sandown, a tough seven for a young horse which is why the race is mostly won by a mature juvenile that never seems to progress - strange race you might say?
Either way, I think Kingman whether it's this year or next at The Breeders Cup will be a name to watch for.
