What a weird sky we have in Cajunland, Louisiana tonight.
We have had constant heat lightning for over an hour now...quite a show.
Heat Lightning is basically from a distant storm and not followed by the thunder roll you usually hear....just quiet, constant lightning.
Conditions are ripe - a hot and muggy summer night is the usual recipe and we've got that. Hit a high of about 97 yesterday and today, although it's "cooled" to 80 right now (at 10:30pm).
