For what its worth, the jocks are riding like you have to have the lead to win, so they're sending at all costs and riding like these are 1 furlong races, if you dont have the lead, you have no chance, that's the way guys are riding. The bettors are also betting on whoever gets the lead wins. Whether this is true or not is anyone's guess, we shall see how things play out there today.
Now, for those of you who are not generally familiar with Hollywood, speed is usually pretty good (obviously) but not as good as it is now. Its VERY hot at Hollywood today and its been very hot the last couple days, it doesnt normally get this hot at Hollywood with HWD being only a few miles from the ocean, but its baking hot and i'm guessing that's why speed is so hard to beat.
So if you are betting out there today, its going to be really hard to gain in the stretch and the jocks are riding like they know this to be true.
