Is this considered a good day for you.?

Since you don't post selections here I suspect you liked the card very much and hoped to make a big splash.

Here's my take on your day.

1) In 9 races you were able to choose the winning horse 4 times using 3 contenders per race. At a rate of 4/9 44% clip you're going to need some price horse or improve your contender selection, because at that rate you wouldn't be getting it done.

2) From those 4 winners 2 of them paid less than $5.00 ($2.80 & $4.80) The other two paid slightly over $20 dollars ($20.20 & $23.20) but unfortunately only one of those was the top pick.

Now I assume that you will come back and tell me most of those races after being run threw your filtering process were NO PLAYS and that you just banged the $23.20 horse and absolutely crushed the exactor, and while it wasn't the best day you've ever had it was still mighty profitable.

I'll not be checking your selections again any time soon, but please let us all know how good you are when you hit something.

FWIW there are probably 50-100+ guys on this site who could get the winner from 3 selections per race at a hit rate above 60% in their sleep.

Oh and they would pay better than $2.80 and $4.80.

FWIW. Rains came between 1st & 2nd race to day at GP, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th could not see the back stretch. Jocks almost cancelled the card. The balance of the day was what ever follows sloppy. Should be back to normal Sat., try again.

You missed a $48.60 top pick in race 5 at GP.

You can analyze OP and Aqu too if you like.

Didn't look all that bad to me.

Bet top pick to win: $18 wagered returned $51.40.

Bet top 2 to win: $36 wagered returned $76.40.

Box top 2 exacta: $36 wagered returned $174.10.

Box top 3 exacta: $108 wagered returned $174.10.

I'd take it.

Still looking for that $23.20 payoff.

I stand corrected -- I had posted earlier that one of the winners paid $23.20 but actually those were the odds in that case. And that horse did pay $48.60.

Nevertheless that doesn't change the fact that you still were 4/9 in the picking the winner using 3 selections per race. Further to that, two of those winners were less than $5.00.

If there are guys around here who think that's "good picking" I would hate to see what they select on their own.

My objection really isn't about ffast posting selections because I generally I luv the guys that do around here. I guess what pisses me off is the arrogance that follows. I've heard from more an a few players how he's attitude over at DRF site cause huge riffs in their community. I for one was hoping he would keep his act away from here.

When I posted the first time this thread had about 15 hits which was probably a couple of hours after the card had finished, now were nearing 140, go figure.

Your "good picking" quote must be talking about me, if you can do better than post "YOUR PICKS". The last time i checked favorites do win races! I've seen guys here put 4 horses per race and hit nothing.

I do post picks, go take a look. The difference is I don't throw it in other players faces.

I've been around long enough to know that when only two key horses win 2 of 9 races and one of them pays $2.80 I'm in for a very long day. If you think it's great when good for you.

Think of it this way I give you 27 chances to pick the winner in 9 races and you win 4 of them. Of those 4 races you get prices of $2.80 and $4.80.

You think that's great capping, well knock yourself out.
