Here's my look at the Belmont card today. I will play $10WP on my top selection and use my top 3 in a $5 Exacta box. The picks:
Race -1 The :2: Matz ships this one in from Del. Trainer hits at 18% with ship ins. 3rd time off a layoff a favoite angle of mine. Matz hitting 13% with the move. Beaten fav last two makes amends today. ExBox :2: :1: :5:
Race -2 The :5: Brown runner enters on a 2 race winning streak. Trainer hits at 31% when winning last out. Hot jocket-trainer combo has won 4 of last 5 races together. ExBox :5: :3: :6:
Race -3 The :2: Winner of 3 straight coming into this. Takes a slight drop off the win a 27& move for Jacobson. Big scratches of the 1&7 in here helps chances. ExBox :2: :4: :6:
Race -4 The :6: Appears to be enough speed in here for this one's late rally as long as someone hooks the inside horse a bit. Don't think the ML fav can go this distance when pressured. ExBox :6: :1: :3:
Race -5 The :7: Career best Bris figure came at this very distance. Love the turnback move from a stalking route try to 6.5F today. Plenty of speed signed on to chase here at a solid price. ExBox :7: :8: :4:
Race -6 The :6: Just missed while racing 6 wide in latest attempt at this level. No need to list the impressive trainer stats of Ness here. ExBox :6: :2: :5:
Race -7 The :5: Trainer and horse have has a case of 2nditis this week with the trainer having 8 2nds in 24 starts. Rosario stays aboard off the near miss last out. Cuts back alittle in distance and finally catches a fast track after 3 straight off track runs. ExBox :5: :10: :7:
Race -8 The :6: 3rd time off the layoff for Brown hitting at 30% with the move. Slight drop in class today gets the job done. ExBox :6: :4: :2:
Race -9 The :10: Going home with the outside runner here. Should get a good trip from just off the pace vs these. ExBox :10: :3: :9:
