MNR Pick 3 - Alive 6/25/13

Alive to the last leg of the late pick 3 at MNR. 10 horse field in race 8 and very vulnerable to get beat.

5-1 with 45-1 with 1,4,5,8

My payouts for $1:
#1: 3257
#4: 1196
#5: 6500
#7: 600* (pays 2 of 3 of which I'd have 4 times)
#8: 1315

My ticket was:

6 with ALL with 1,4,5,8 = $32.00. Took a chance with a single that was getting early money in the first leg. Now I wish I had gone deeper in the last leg. But isn't that always the case?

We'll see how it shakes out.

Not very confident. Lots of horses can beat me. I put a few on top of exacta/trifectas with 1,4,5,8 running 2nd to get a bit back in case they run but don't win.

The 5 would be nice.....I think it has a huge shot the way the track is running.

Unreal.....as it turned out....the 5 was my only chance at the end. No shows for the 1,4,8. Man, did that work out well.....

It was a rough weekend for me betting-wise so this was a gift I didn't see coming.

Thanks Bob. Extremely lucky!!! Some times when you bet, you can feel a big hit coming on. Tonight was not one of those times. Completely blindsided me.

Believe me....I can feel your pain. Just know that when you hit a big one, they often come in bunches.

Maybe the Belmont Pick 6 tomorrow? :)
