Gets beat!
Did not look like a champion tonight.
This was probably not a target for the year, though.
I suspected she might not be cranked so I bet against her.
But the wrong one - I took Wine Princess.

Agree.
Doubt she was cranked up.
Purse was 175k.
The last time she ran......10 mill.
Nothing more than a "needed race".
She improves a ton in her next.

Yeah, Bill Mott shipped her 800 miles for a prep race....that she won last year by a pole in, arguably, her fastest performance ever.

Maybe she refinds her good form, but I won't be taking a short price on her banking on that in the future.

She's older now.
After another failed trip half way around the world.....
Do you really think they would top her out for a 175k Grade 3 first race back ?

The bettors thought so, if the connections didnt think so or use the race as training, they should all be suspended for a while (this type of rule is in effect in other jurisdictions)

"Prep race".
"Give a horse a race".
"He/She needed the race".
"We had to get a race into him/her".
"This race is not our main goal".
"We didn't have him/her 100%".

Owner got taken when he paid the big bucks for her. He will never get it back on the track or in the breeding shed.
