Palace Malice drawing 12 could have some effect on the race.

M/L looks pretty good except I think Revolutionary should be considerably higher than 9-2. I don't like him at all.

I think he'll be on the public's contender list, behind Orb and in the same general area as Oxbow. I'm not crazy about him, but I think he belongs with the 2nd level of contenders.

I would prefer that Pletcher not sacrifice Palace Malice as a rabbit, but I don't think it will have much impact either way so long as Saez is patient, and doesn't cruise into kickback.

I think Incognito will start lower than natural odds... I have heard that his last work at Bel was impressive..

I think Unlimited Budget may be 2nd choice. The post didn't help, but those turns are awfully gradual.

The more I look at it, the low price throwout IMO is Oxbow. Kevin Krigger altered the Preakness by making sure Goldencents was in the chase position, rather than going for the lead, which he should've gotten. Oxbow hasn't had the easiest of trips so far, but the time to bet him was at Pimlico.

I'm convinced Freedom Child is quicker than Oxbow, so no easy wire job trips for the Ox. Without interference at the gate, Freedom Child should've been on the lead in the Wood. He broke a good 12 lengths behind the field then rushed up very wide on the first turn to eventually get within a couple lengths of Verrazano. Not bad for a horse who was declared a non-starter.

Even without blinkers, its hard to imagine Palace Malice being far back. He was forcing the pace in his first three races, all of which were sprints. So routing they took him back?

Think we will see a 47 4/5, 1:12 3/5 type pace, which is certainly legitimate for a 12 furlong race.

Well, it was only a half hour, but a very good show.
Another at midnight tonight, looks like 90 minutes....I'm guessing TVG?
