Thinking about our Racing Mantra thread (adding the mantra that this is an 'easy game'), i wanted to talk about Silent Appeal who just won the 7th race at Monmouth. He was claimed for 5k on May 12th. He was 9-2 Morning line, was 5-2 with 1 horse left to load, burst out of the gate to the front, went from 5-2 after the start down to 7-5 and wired the field and streaked home like a wild horse and won the lions share of a FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR PURSE. Yes, that's right, a 5k claim just won 60% of 55,000.
This doesnt seem like that hard of a game, all you have to do is claim a 5k claimer and win a 55k race and you're in clover for a really long time.
Congrats to Claudio A Gonzalez...whoever he is.
