R4- 6 Rays Rayzer
Has gate speed when asked, and seems to have guts. 2 of last 5 races were bad, both from PP8. Trainer has been hot, and If KDB pushes this 9 yr old early, Goodbye. 1:55.3 mark last yr shows there may be more in the tank.
Harrahs Philadelphia
R3- 6 Shark Treasure
8-1 odds here is value. Alagna-A.Miller is always a nice catch, and 1 of only a few with a win in this field. Holds a 1:54 mark this yr, and will be in the mix here, and hopefully will be kicking it in when they hit the top of the stretch. Odds may be tempting!
R7- 4 Wontbefooledagain
Started yr off racing against better. Dropped to this level in March and won back to back races. Then he seemed to start tying up, and lost form. April came around, and he looked much better. Czermann felt good enough to bump up to $15,000 Claimers. He was pulled 1st over finishing a tough 4th. Dropped back in for $10K, and Carlson really didn't get everything out of him. Draws in well here. We'll see what Yannick can do back in the sulky.
R8- 7 Sleek N Wow
Always seems to be in the mix. Makes a big drop in class here for Welty who has a pretty good track record with Trotters doing so. Miller has had success with trotters, and this 6YO reached a 1:53.4 mark at Pocono last year. Will be a factor in this race for sure.
