I haven't put up any selections in a long long time.

I have been tweaking my Jcapper stuff a little.........what the hell? Let's try a Wednesday at a track I'm not very good at, normally.

Race 1 :4: :6: :3: The 3 stands out to me, but what the heck.

Race 2 :8: :1: :4:

Race 3 :1: :5: :4: :6:

Race 4 :3: :6: :1:

Race 5 :3: :10: :8:

Race 6 :9: :2: :11:

Race 7 :1: :6: :2:

Race 8 :6: :1: :2: yep, left out Teaks North

Race 9 :2: :10: :9:

Lots of Maiden races in this card........... :bang:

At Belmont you have to go for a bomb in races 5 and 6 - and sometimes 7. Usually, if the odds are long enough, I just blindly bet everyone whose name is Ortiz in these three races. :)

Race 5: :10: - the only 2nd time starter of the field, has speed, gets better post
Race 6: :8: - Prado/Motion + turf = automatic play for me; gets 6 lbs weight break from entire field for 10 panels

Here's a quickie:
Race 1 - :5: because he has the biggest blaze.

8th Race looks tough. I like 3-6

:3: Reflecting should have won the last race IMO(pre-race opinion). Thought it may have been a drop-off. If Shug can make an adjustment or simply improve in NY this is the one to beat.

:6: Hyper - plodder who probably hits the board here. Maybe he'll find a way to win here?

:7:Teaks North is dangerous if he improves in NY. Dutrow->Nevin barn horses may heat up now?, but we aren't getting good odds.

:4:Quick Casablanca could be anything. Wild card. This is one I want to see in the post parade. If he looks great maybe worth adding in, I don't think he'll take a ton of money.

I watched a video of QC in his native land and while he won easy, i wasnt sure he was a 'classically built' horse. With all that said, he has a great series of works and Rosario shows up, so, you never know. Tough race, one i'm probably going to skip.

Reflecting beat Sneaky Kitten who races in the 7th. Be interesting to see how Kitten does in a much weaker race at 3-5.

Margano in the 6th is a brother (i think) To Barbaro. I kinda like him today. Strong entry, the Malibu Way horse was blocked and had good run last time, both runners seem live.

Good call on the winner. Not sure what Rosario was doing with the 1 horse, he was rip roaring and was probably much the best, he never really gave the horse a shot for some reason.

I ended up cancelling a medium sized bet on my 6 :bang:

It didn't look quite good enough for me, of course now I wish I bet it !

Well, having discipline like that is a bonus for sure, i wish i had that type of mental makeup to do that. There's always another race right around the corner!

I bet and then cancelled on two 10-1 shots (which later turned to be $30 horses) and just now I bet wps and then cancelled on Harbor Moon at Chucktown.... and that one boldly wins going away at 13-1 :bang:
