The Whizz and I talked about a fun challenge, since he feels trainers and drivers are major aspects of his handicapping and I basically ignore those factors. Plus we both play Yonkers.

So here are my Win spot plays for Yonkers Mon. 5/13 (unless it's a sloppy track):

Just woke up a little while ago gotta do some errands and then will have my picks up my 6:30......I will take on all comers for this challenge!!!!! I run my mouth and back it up with strong plays....

And of course SFTW is gonn learn a free cheap lesson here that on Monday's and Tuesday's it's a human game!! I'm a little in the dark on Monday's but I'm sure I can adjust....

I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this....how bout 6 mythical $20 win place bets a night.....I feel I'm at the disadvantage being I can't hawk the board prior and see "who they are betting" but I'll adjust

If this contest was a football game it will be the whizz up 42-3 late in the 4th quarter...

I hope we get some more harness gurus to take a shot here....I offered a baseball challenge and nobody had the heart to respond....

Not sure what that means but Every site I see has tons of people that go 12-1 every week or every day after the games are final....I would be more then happy to run any sort of pool.....there was just a players championship pool that was very well run this past week

Just wanted to comment on your non human influenced picks.
Race 2 #4 . Should go off around 3-5. Fresh trainer change to a man who recently returned from a multiple year doping suspension for some of the most powerful dope on the planet. Driver change from a sixty year old man to the dominant driver in the sport for the last decade.

Race 7 #2. Should go off 3-5 or less. Trained by a man with more suspension time than actual time while licensed in the last ten years. Drug positives, beard trainers, and dead horses, all in his recent history. Driven by the same greatest driver on the planet as the other horse.

Both horses have good shots. But both have to win to show a profit. Everything listed above is fact. So you may have picked your selections without considering it. But the human factor has everything to do with whether they win or not tonight at 3-5.

But, you can make the argument that the human factor is something that he didnt consider at all in making his picks. its possible he just made selections based on careful video study and careful pen and paper study. Not every horseplayer is forced to use the same angles to pick the same horses. If you have determined that his two picks are completely influenced by humans, that's your right....if he doesnt even look at who's training or driving, he's allowed to do that too.

Driver change mark Mac from Brandon Simpson both b class drivers so not a big deal first time with the rail in dint know how long will prob protect rail and sit behind the 2.....the 3 is interesting was racing in big stakes action towards end of summer

Finishing up noodle bar at casino won't be in Racebook till about 745 but I guess the 1 is playable but don't think he can out leave or out finish the 2

Camera is about 25-35 feet past wire....be careful when u have a horse on inside and one in about the 4 or 5 path it's over a neck to a half length advantage to the outside horse....when 2 horses are very deep to the inside the bias isn't as bad

Very suspect money on the 1 here....historically Canada horses don't do well when shipping in at Yonkers he does show speed....horses tend to be sick when they leave Flamboro.....Pena got the 5 here Abd Berkeley the 4....interesting race

The 1 paced in in :49 2 years back horse has been used and abused and just doesn't have it anymore....too bad was a nice horse

So I rattle off 5 bets for a -78 night....in my defense I did post the on this thread the horse drop red I didn't like and Gregory horse was dead in all numbers so I could have been +2 but that's neither here nor there....

I can post picks 4 hours ahead of time but if im not liking what I see on the board I could go in a different direction....

And speaking of contests nobody wants to get into the baseball handicapping contest....

I'll play any way you like but I usually have 1-3 picks per night. I still think total ROI is the way to go.

How about if you lose the contest, you stop posting here? That could be interesting and you seem confident, which I find odd given betting most Yonkers races is suicide (like most half-mile racing). You can point to betting Pena derivatives, but I suspect the whole world has figured out they have an edge. So what's yours? Also, you should read Steve Crist's book on exotics betting, then you can learn how to properly construct a Pick 4 ticket and drop your sub-optimal caveman constructions.

Regardless of what factors you use, people factors are going to part of it, the fastest horses in the game aren't going to be trained and driven by the 5% trainers and driver
