I received a phone call early Sat afternoon from a man with a thick Indian accent asking me if I was aware that I had a security issue with my computer and he could help--I promptly hung up This is the 1st call like this in about a year What they do is either ask some info about your computer or direct you to a website and have you download a "fix" and then steal your info The # was "out of the area" and came up on caller ID as 234567809 I hope no one falls for this!

In order to be both politically correct and ethnically sensitive, it is recommended (notice the neat transition to passive voice--I read a lot of political writing) that a differentiation be made in the use of the term "Indian." When referring to someone from India, it is more appropriate to specify "East Indian." When referring to Native Americans, it is more appropriate to use the term "Native American."
