Anybody watch the over head view? Will Take Charge was moving stride for stride with Orb with about 1/4 mile to go and then had to check badly. Costing him any shot at hitting the ticket.

Fast forward to about a minute in the video

I am not saying he would have won the race by any stretch of the means, but more or less could have hit the board if not second.
(PS I didn't bet him, but after seeing this he might be a play in the Preakness or Belmont.

I noticed it too - almost posted something about it on this board yesterday after the race. Will Take Charge was moving nicely with Orb and got absolutely picked off by Verrazano swerving in front of him. Lost a lot of momentum, that's for sure, but I'm not sure how to quantify how many lengths that cost him.

yeah - he really got stopped right when the real running began. Very unlucky.

I don't know that he would have contended, but he was moving there, and you have to upgrade his effort.
