Race -1 The :5: . Taking a shot here at 8-1 on the ML. 3rd last out on AW at this level. Switches to turf for 33% AW-to-Turf trainer. Contessa on fire winning with 3 of last 4 starters. Price is right here.
Race -2 The :8: . Been freshened for this by Rudy after losing as the favorite last out. Trainer hits at 27% next race after the loss. Stalker should sit a good trip vs. these.
Race -3 The :2: . Hard to get past the even-money ML shot here. 101 Bris figure last out easily the field's high last out fig. Can show speed or stalk leaving Castro options from the start. The one to beat.
Race -4 The :5: . 3rd time off the layoff for Kenneally hitting at 16% with the move. Drops back into the Mdn claiming ranks for another 27% angle and add in the dirt-to-turf move for another 26% to boot. Lots to like here.
Race -5 The :3: . Closer gets big jockey change to Cohen today. Drops back into the claiming ranks today after 2 solid Hcp tries. Won going away when last raced at this level. 7-2 on the line.
Race -6 The :6: . Taking a bit of a stab here hoping this one like the turf for the 1st time. Claimed by Jacobson who hits at 24% 1st off the claim. 3rd time off the layoff another 23% move. Has dirt Bris figures to handle these on the surface switch. 6-1 makes the price right here.
Race -7 The :3: 12-1 longshot chance here. Winner of last out at GP ships up for 14% shipping trainer. 3rd off the layoff a 16% move with a nice set of works coming at Calder for this. Can show speed or stalk and I think catches this group at the right time. Bombs away?!?!
Race -8 The :5: . Baffert puts the blinkers on today (20% move) after a horrid trip to the track last out when declared a non-starter. 3rd time off the layoff another 25% move. Could be the controlling speed in here.
Race -9 The :9: . 6-5 shot couldn't have caught a worse field than this one today. Domino 29% 2nd off the layoff....probably the best of a very bad bunch...
