Why doesn't the TDN mgmt care about horse racing enough to get an agreement in place with the horsemen so they can once again start simulcasting their races?

The biggest handle according to the Equibase charts was day 2 of the meet which = $126k in wagers all sources.

Maybe Craig can shed some light into this and why it hasn't happened yet

i heard that its the horsemen that are holding things up now. yesterday i saw show pools with a total of $172 in it. but when you compare that to Scarborough Downs that had $90 show pools that's not to bad!

Hi Guys:

Not meaning to pass the buck but my job here falls under the auspices of the marketing department (and locally I am proud to say we have done a lot of advertising, flyers, billboards and radio geared at racing) so I am not in anyway involved with the dispute, nor do I know the people involved. I just want our signal out there, pronto, so EVERYONE can see it for themselves.

Craig.
