Outraged by Richard Falk's highly offensive Boston comments. Someone who spews such vitriol has no place at the UN. Past time for him to go. http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/plugins/twitter-blackbird-pie//images/bird.pngabout 15 hours ago (http://twitter.com/#%21/AmbassadorRice/status/326879543308722177) via Twitter for iPhone (http://twitter.com/download/iphone)Reply (https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?in_reply_to=326879543308722177)Retweet (https://twitter.com/intent/retweet?tweet_id=326879543308722177)Favorite (https://twitter.com/intent/favorite?tweet_id=326879543308722177)

Now, a good follow up would be to immediately withdraw the US from the Human Right Committee. We have already done far more on own over the years than the worthless UN will ever do. We don not need to be hobbles with 3rd-4th-5th rate nations and their agendas. We are better off alone.

Next would be the withdrawal from the UN proper, and a stop payment on any checks out there. Let them pay their own way - we get nothing from our investment in that failed group.

Finally, throw the bum out - get off our shores - go anywhere, preferable to Hell, but get out. Now. And, Charlie, pay your traffic tickets before we allow you to board your planes.

We can live with the rats and roaches in NY, but the UN delegates - we gotta draw the line somewhere.

Ageism alert: how does any 83 year old have a job? Shouldn't he retire; probably to one of those caves in Afghanistan since he's so sympathetic to those people and their philosophy?

If I make it to 83, the most stress I want is figuring out where my next glass of whiskey is coming from.

The UN is a cesspool for anti-USA ferment. I agree, with a choice between the UN and roaches, I take the one with many legs. They don't speak out of both sides of their mouths and don't have immunity.

The United Nations was originally a great idea.

In the early days of the "Cold War" - U Thant and others had influence in making logic prevail.
At certain points in U.N.'s history peace keeping missions to places like Cyprus kept a lid on further hostility breaking out.

Today it is a toothless tiger and except for it's charitable work in Third World countries, has little value.
Furthermore, the corruption that has permeated it to the point that Kofi Annan, the U.N. head and his son were involved in draining millions away from the Oil-for-Food program (were they ever charged?) showed how morally decrepit it had become. The world was being played like a fiddle.

It's time for the U.N. to be abolished and another idea with a more honest process thought out.
