SANTA ANITA RACE 1
4 RACY ROSA 5-2 Blanc Bell
Has 4 good starts in a row and back to back wins. Beat Metaxa by a head in last and she has returned to run 2nd at the same level, beaten ½ length and was ultra-game on Friday hanging in with starter allowance foes at 41-1 before tiring slightly to 4th. Off for 5 weeks, slow works a good sign.
2 BROOKLYN ROSE 9-5 Nakatani Hess
Takes a major class drop after a good effort vs 16k foes in last. Beyers in last two are clearly better than the rest of these. Trainer 20% on a 50% or more drop in claiming price. Doesn’t have to be much here.
3 WARREN’S GOLDIE 4-1 Maldonado Gutierrez
Won at 5-1 at this level in last. Off slow two back. Formerly a 40k starter allowance winner. Respect.
