italics mine. It is not "Understand how and where some one else's tax dollars are being spent. That is not the purpose of the calculator.

The numbers may vary but the percentages remain the same. 24.64% of the taxes of a person making $80,000 a year goes towards Defense spending.
24.64% of the taxes of a person making $1,000,000 a year goes towards defense spending.

The purpose of the calculator is to find out where your tax dollars are being spent, not to attempt to drum up sympathy for the poor mistreated rich. Websites like the Daily Mail have that covered quite well.
