My picks for Oaklawn today. Today just playing $10 WP on my top selection here. Picks before scratches.

Race -1 The :5: . Going to try and beat the :3:, the probable big favorite here. I'm taking a stab at a 6-1 on the ML. 1st time starter with solid works for excellent 1st time out trainer. Trainer hits at 32% with debut MSW runners and 25% 1st timers overall.

Race -2 The :1: . 3rd time off the layoff for Hobby a 13% move. 29% right back after running 4th as the favorite last out. 17% trainer angle when jumping up one class to boot. Speed and rail run today.

Race -3 The :1: Ships in from a solid Wrd victory last out going long. Trainer hits at 16% after winning last. Has speed but doesn't need it to win and reverting to a stalking style would suit the race flow here. 21% route-to-sprint trainer an added angle. Some things to like here.

Race -4 The :7: . Ugly group here. Tabbing this one solely on the fact that she ran the field's highest Bris figure at 1st asking. Any improvement at all in the 2nd start beats these handily. Roberts barn struggling this meet.

Race -5 The :5: Maggi Moss owned runner an impressive winner last out. Dueled into the stretch and pulled away. Catches a field where a repeat is well within reach for these connections.

Race-6 The :8: . 3rd time off the layoff for a 9% trainer angle. Stretches back out 2nd off the claim another 11% move. Takes a slight drop in class as well. 5-2 sounds about right here.

Race -7 The :8: . Hobby puts the blinkers on for a high 29% trainer move. 3rd time off the bench another 13% angle and 29% right back off the tough beaten fav race last out. Lots to like here at 4-1 on the line.

Race -8 The :3: . Favorite looks to tough to beat again. Wire to wire winner of the Honeybee last out as well placed for another solid effort here. Has speed and can also stalk leaving Bo-Rail alot of options here.

Race -9 The :1: . 3rd time off the shelf for Von Hemel a 15% trainer move. Should sit a great stalking-speed trip from the rail vs these. Will take all of 9-2 if we can get it here.

Good Luck N Good Racing From The KidCapper!!

I have the :1: SILVER STRIKE

I just can't tell if she ran a huge race vs. a quality horse (tread) going hard fractions, or if she had a physical issue to falter.

not betting , not surprised if she crushes.

---

post race - nope she faltered late again... glad I didn't go in on her at a tempting price.
