9th@Mountaineer: 5.5F F&M Clm5000N1Y (Non-winners 1-12mo.) 4/2/13
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to "The Bottom". Mountaineer's lowest level written. This is where
slow horses go when they can't/won't win. Final Time o/u? Set at 1:09 Flat.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Ty Wonder (6/1ML)- 8YO Mare once had lifetime win mark of 20% when
10/50 lifetime. Alas, last 25 starts not too good. Ty Tri/Super key with #2?
2) Tennis Bracelet (9/2)- Had recency edge when beating TY by 2 & 1/2 last
out in local debut. Last win 17 starts ago, 10/3/11. Under key with TY BCS?
3) View Of Broadway (3/1ml fave)- 7YO returns off 115 day break & drops in
class, closing style fits well in this lineup. Negative? Vet Scratch 3/12 here.
4) Hopewell Terrace (20/1)- NO HOPE! 5YO has been dreadful since being
claimed in Calder win 8/26/11. Needs 4th of better to stay here @Mountain.
5) The Vue From Here (20/1)- No Vue from here for 1/30 lifetime runner off
249 Vaca & one 4F work. Chuck with confidence.
6) O'Dappurrdeebabee (6/1)- Speed & Fade off 230 day break.Loses Parker
to #9, but may be "inside speed" from Six post. ML price entices.
7) American Brew (20/1)- Bitter taste for backers,Brews last Win was in
Dec.2010, 36 starts ago. Another runner that needs 4th/better to stay here.
8) El Diedre (20/1)- 5YO was Private Purchase off 2nd place finish two back.
DNF & 177-day vaca followed. Last Win 6/1/11, 20 starts ago. El Paso.
9) Chase Em (7/2)- Dreadful @5/2 off layoff. Won 2nd off break in 2012.
May be speed-of-speed if #10 needs one. Early 69 Pace Duel will help neither.
10) Shoplifter (6/1)- 10YO + 708 Day Layoff + One Work = Crook Caught.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: A Fugly Nitecap. On Paper, only 3,6,9 logically can win, although
#2(2nd time Mtr) has outside shot. $.50Supe(3,6,9)(3,6,9)(1,2)(1,2)=$6

8th@Mountaineer: 6F Alw20200N2L ~ 4/2/13
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Four step up in class, while 3 runners cut back from Mile Alw. here March 15th.
5/2 & 3/1ml fave both making IMO negative rider changes to 'barn' jocks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Impetuous Power (12/1)- DOB in local debut & ran to odds vs. tougher,
note positive rider switch for connections that can score at a price.Could.
2) Carter's Pride (10/1)- WV-Bred faces open Alw.foes 2nd off layoff. Never
run on "Fast" track, but in tough here.
3) Jackstown (15/1)- You Know Jack should enjoy 440Y cutback,& did finish
in front of Govt. here Nov.2012,but win seems out of reach.Under Bomb Key?
4) Precious Chaos (6/1)- This is a 7YO with 4 starts: Two Good,Two Bad.
Won Pace battle, lost War last out. No EZ leads likely if field stays intact.
5) In My Rear View (12/1)- Ohio-Bred 5YO broke maiden here @5.5F @2/5,
but needs pace meltdown cutting back from common 3/15 Mile. Under BCS.
6) Strong Government (3/1)- Out of same 3/15 mile, got beat by runner he
had passed early in race.Rider needs to time move to get win.Must-Use IMO.
7) Soldier Bill (20/1)- 3YO steps up, faces older 1st time off MCL.Win. Pass.
8) Real Luck (5/2ml fave)- 4YO adds 110Y off solid 2nd as 6/5 fave. Goes
to 7lb.Bug rider. Must Use in P3/4, but $200K Purchase needs good ride.
9) Top Pit Boss (8/1)- Adds 220Y off even local debut. Barn's Go-To rider
takes over, both Sire/Dam have done well w/offspring in Dirt Sprints. Could.
10) Carpenter Jack (5/1)- 5YO steps Up from claiming races & draws post
that will allow Parker to stalk speed. Beaten by 4/5 & 2/1 shots locally last
pair, hard trier looks like a solid 'under' key.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: Many will 'chalk out' in P3/P4/DD, & just go two deep, #6/8.
While they may get "W", #10 will be closing,& #'s 1/9 rate longshot looks
based on connections, rider changes. GOOD LUCK,& See'Ya @Night School!

they likely haven't changed the link to tonight's PP's from last week yet.
Try again in a little bit.
