Santa Anita's Late pick 4 paid 46.05 for 50 cents, and the Late pick SIX (adding a 4.20 winner and a 6.20 winner, both 8 horse fields) paid.....36.25 for 50 cents.
The pick 6 paid 10 bucks less than the pick FOUR. Now, i know there were consolations and i know that in leg 2 of the pick 6 a 5-1 shot got late scratched and his money went on the favorite, but even with both those things taken into consideration, shouldnt you get MORE for the pick 6?
